Recent feedback;
Best Mopar fuel tank lock ring/gasket combo
After trying a couple of repro lock rings and gaskets bought online, this product is the only one that really worked for me. The DMT lock ring was made of thicker metal than even my original 1968 Plymouth Fury lock ring. It made for a very tight and secure fit of my sending unit to the tank. Almost even better than the lock ring was that the gasket was properly size matched to my sending unit. Until I got the DMT part, I didn’t see how off my other aftermarket gaskets were as my 1968 original had gotten lost. The other gaskets were just enough too big to keep it from seating completely flat and the thinner repro lock rings would not hold the sending unit securely enough to keep it from leaking. Even reusing my old 1968 lock ring wasn’t enough. The DMT parts were perfect and solved my problem. No more leaks!
